U of L MBA Association completes lecture series
with panel discussion on the value of the MBA
Civic and business leaders to weigh value of MBA in
U of L Leadership Lecture series forum
LOUISVILLE , Ky. , (March 22, 2007)—“ Louisville : A Wealth of Opportunity” will be the focus April 3 rd , when the University of Louisville MBA Association completes the 2006-07 College of Business Leadership Lecture Series . A panel discussion by civic and business leaders will discuss the value of the MBA, and more specifically, why talented young professionals should stay in Louisville .
Panel members include Chuck Denny, President & CEO, National City Bank of KY; Joe Reagan, President & CEO of Greater Louisville, Inc.; and Steve Poe, CEO, Poe Companies.
The 5:45 p.m. presentation for students, faculty and staff is free and open to the public, and will be preceded by a 5 p.m. reception hosted by the MBAA in the Drummond Center , Room 344 of the College of Business .
The program also will include remarks by College of Business Dean Charlie Moyer , who will introduce the panel members.
Tickets are not required for the event. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis in the 300-seat Horn Auditorium. The auditorium is located on the Belknap campus in the College of Business . Parking will be available in the adjacent Speed Museum Garage.
The U of L MBA Association's goal is to enhance the experience of students and alumni of the College of Business MBA , IMBA, MBA/MAC and MBA/JD programs, and build stronger connections among students, the university, employers and the community.
