Finance Committee
The Finance committee is focused on forecasting the financial resource needs of the organization, managing the funds collected from development initiatives, and expense disbursements for the MBAA’s operations. Committee members work with the other four committees on these financial issues and culminate their efforts in providing solid reports with the Controller.

Marketing / PR Committee

The Marketing & PR committee focuses on the initiatives of promotions for events, development of marketing collateral for the MBAA, public relations in dealing with media related activities at the University and in the community. Additionally, working to identify strategies and actions to increase the organizations market value to its stakeholders (the students, alumni, university, and community). Committee members work in support of the Marketing & PR Committee Chairs established goals and objectives.
Events Committee
The Events Committee focuses on all aspects of coordination for social, networking and career development events. This involves working with various departments within the University, the Alumni Association and the local business community vendor coordination, supply management, site identification and coordination and financial planning for events. In addition, the committee will offer support of promotion activities
with the Marketing & PR Committee, sponsorship activities with the Development Committee, and member training & recognition activities with the Membership Development Committee. Committee members assist the committee chair with annual goal development and ensuring that those event goals are attained to provide the greatest value possible to the MBAA stakeholders. Individuals possessing creativity, attention to
detail, and a fun attitude are all welcome to join the Committee.
Development Committee
The Development Committee drives the securing of funds for the MBAA. Efforts involve identification of market contacts, relationship growth and management, value proposition message delivery, identification of intended purpose and use of funds received via donations, sponsorships, or university funding. Committee members focus their efforts in support of the goals and initiatives set by the committee chair annually.
Membership Committee

The Membership Committee focuses on ensuring that members receive value in their membership with the MBAA. Committee members focus on membership retention, identification of values and interests of members annually, and delivery of value to the members.
