Certified Sales Student Award

The purpose of the Certified Sales Student Award is to offer students the opportunity to receive recognition for preparing themselves for successful sales jobs and careers. Receiving this certification should help students differentiate themselves from other students in the sales employment market and should help sales employers identify the best candidates for sales positions. Any student can earn this certification by meeting the Coursework and Extracurricular requirements presented below.

Students must earn 100 points to be awarded the Certified Sales Student Award. 50 points are required from college coursework and 50 points must come from extracurricular activities.

COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS - 50 points

The three courses listed below must be completed as well as two other courses related to a student's career aspirations.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES - 50 points

Three different activities totaling at least 50 points must be completed.

Students must meet with Professor Buddy LaForge to get their Course Requirements and Extracurricular Activities approved. The Certified Sales Student Awards are normally presented at the Spring Sell-A-Bration.
